The 2023 Santa Barbara Cuvée is primarily from the Rancho Ontiveros Vineyard is Santa Maria. Making this classic Pinot Noir a 65% Santa Maria Valley, 25% Los Alamos, and 10% Sta. Rita Hills blend. All components meld together into a nice fruit forward yet savory and earthy wine - With 15% whole cluster fermentation also adding complexity and tannin. The earth and dark cherry notes of course coming from Santa Maria Valley’s deep soils.

2022 Santa Barbara County Cuvée
Clonal Selection: 100% Pinot Noir, utilizing 115, 2A, Mount Eden, Pommard and 828 clones.
Growing Season: 2023 was a classic vintage with a touch more warmth at the end of harvest, and exceptionally late pick in mid October. This gave us incredible acids plus phenolic ripeness.
Brix at Harvest: 22.5-24 brix.
Chemistry: Finished total acidity 0.58 with a pH of 3.65, Alc. 14.1%
Fermentation / Élevage: 15% new French oak. 11 months in barrel, and bottled unfined, unfiltered.
