Just seven miles from the Pacific Ocean, on the western edge of the Sta. Rita Hills, La Encantada Vineyard was originally planted by the legendary Richard Sanford who founded both this vineyard and the Sta. Rita Hills AVA. Located on the tranquil Santa Rosa Road near Lompoc, this site is planted in diatomaceous soils and loam. Very cool nights from marine fog keeps the sun at bay until midmorning, when the afternoon warmth ripens and intensifies the flavors.

This 2015 La Encantada Vineyard Pinot Noir offers lovely depth and radiance. Super-ripe cherry, hard candy, mint, spice and rose petals, along with silky, creamy tannins, gives the wine much of its personality. This wine is in an especially racy and ripe style, all hallmarks of the vintage - But impeccably balanced. Vinous and Jeb Dunnuck 92 points
