The 2017 Cabernet Franc is from the Curtis Vineyard in Santa Ynez Valley. This has the classic aromatics that only Cabernet Franc can bring you, with hints of underbrush and pencil shavings on the nose. A wonderful core of dark spiced plum, dark berries, a hint of toast from the new oak, black pepper and leather are all nicely supported by good acidity and ripe tannins - which gives this wine exceptional length and a savory finish.
